PC memory Grade B (with Aluminum Cover) Buying Conditions
- This is memory inserted into a PC motherboard. It is treated as scrap and its operation is not an issue.
- We will purchase even small quantities.
- Desktop (server) or laptop use is acceptable.
- SIMM and later (SIMM, SDR, RIMM, DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4).
- Items without surface-mounted memory (those without DRAM, CRIMM) will not be considered memory (free pickup).
- The purpose is to extract "rare metals" such as gold (Au) and silver (Ag). However, since rare metals are present in very small amounts, the weight increase due to exposure to water is not negligible. Therefore, exposure to water will result in a deduction, so be sure to "dry thoroughly" if the item gets wet.
- Items with sideways IC chips or extremely few chips may not be purchased as memory.
- Items with aluminum covers will be purchased as PC Memory B. We recommend removing covers that are too large or made of a different material, as they will not be accepted as memory. Sideways chips and silver-plated terminals (sockets) also fall into this category.
- Damage is not allowed. Items that are cut or shattered will not be accepted as memory, but will be treated as individual circuit boards.
