Mixed CPU (Black) Buying Conditions
- Black resin–packaged CPUs.
- Typical examples include Intel Socket 7 CPUs such as MMX Pentium and Celeron.
- Treated as scrap; operation is not required, and items with bent or broken pins are acceptable.
- Purchased even in small quantities (minimum 1 lb, purchased in 1 lb units; fractional amounts are rounded down).
- The purpose is to extract rare metals such as gold (Au) and silver (Ag); however, these metals are contained only in very small amounts, so any weight increase due to moisture cannot be ignored. Therefore, if the items are wet, a deduction will be applied; if they get wet, they must be thoroughly dried.
- Aluminum heat sinks found on CPU cooling fans, when consisting of aluminum only, are purchased separately as aluminum heat sinks (without attachments).
