Mixed CPU (Green) Buying Conditions

  1. Green resin CPUs with or without a heat spreader are acceptable.
  2. For Intel, this includes the Socket 370 Pentium III and Celeron, while for AMD, this includes the Socket A Athlon XP and Athlon MP.
  3. Although they're called green, some are made of brown resin (some Athlons).
  4. They're treated as scrap, so functionality doesn't matter (even broken pins are OK).
  5. We'll buy even small quantities (1lb or more, in 1lb increments, decimals rounded down).
  6. The purpose is to extract "rare metals" such as gold (Au) and silver (Ag). However, since rare metals are present in very small amounts, the weight gain from exposure to water is significant. Therefore, exposure to water will result in a deduction, so be sure to "dry thoroughly" if the item gets wet.
  7. Aluminum heat sinks for heat dissipation, such as those found in CPU cooling fans, will be bought as heat sinks (without accessories) if they're made of aluminum only.
